Chicken & Marinade:
- 600g (1.3 lb) boneless chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-size pieces
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
Garlic Yogurt Sauce:
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 garlic cloves (grated)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1–2 tbsp chopped fresh dill or parsley
- Salt & pepper (to taste)
Instructions
1. Marinate chicken
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, lemon juice/zest, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt, pepper
- Add chicken and toss well
- Marinate at least 20–30 minutes (up to overnight for deeper flavor)
2. Make yogurt sauce
- Mix yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, herbs, salt, and pepper
- Chill until ready to serve
3. Grill chicken
- Heat grill or grill pan to medium-high
- Thread onto skewers or cook directly
- Grill 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally until nicely charred and cooked through
4. Serve
- Plate chicken bites
- Drizzle or dip with garlic yogurt sauce
- Optional: serve with pita, rice, or salad
