❓ Is this really diabetic-friendly?
Yes — it’s low in carbs and high in protein + healthy fats, which helps prevent blood sugar spikes.
Just avoid pairing it with white rice or regular pasta.
❓ Can I use milk instead of heavy cream?
You can, but the sauce will be thinner and slightly higher in carbs.
For best results, use heavy cream or full-fat coconut cream.
❓ How many carbs per serving?
Approx. 4–6g net carbs per serving (depending on exact ingredients).
❓ Can I meal prep this?
Absolutely.
Store in an airtight container up to 3 days. Reheat gently so the sauce doesn’t separate.
❓ Can I add veggies directly into the skillet?
Yes! Try:
-
Mushrooms
-
Spinach
-
Sun-dried tomatoes (small amount)
-
Asparagus
❓ How do you avoid getting bored eating diabetic-friendly meals?
I rotate:
-
Different spice blends (cajun, lemon pepper, taco seasoning)
-
Swap cream for pesto sauce
-
Add different low-carb veggies each week
-
Use the same base protein but change flavor profile
Keeps things exciting without affecting blood sugar.
